Well, it was. May 14th to be specific and official in case you feel to moved to make a plaque, no pressure. None. [cough]
It all happened within a night, just over a year ago with a simple little doodle. Time flies when you’re whining about feeling second place. As much as this is a congrats to myself (proceed with pat on back) it all would not be this enjoyable without your shared frustration, witty comments, and incredibly kind emails. Really, thank you. And before this gets massively, too mushy, stick around, there’s more to come and always, always stay crochet!
Stephanie (The Hands) & Hooky (The Muse)
P.S. Really, thanks for hanging out and having fun 🙂

What the heck is that semi organized two inch binder doing on your desk?!
It contains all of the Obey Crochet drawings, you say?!
And while cleaning and organizing because you live such a wild life style, you found two test prints?! that you don’t want? and want to give away for some awesome hard core hooker out there?
My joy, can not be contained. Not. At. All.
But how, oh how, oh hooky one, do I win this awesome display of hooker pride?! Edward Hook Hands! He’s dreamy.
Leave a comment, tell me your favorite, most awesome breakfast. Why? Because I like breakfast. And because I own this blog and I do what I want. And I want to see if you actually read my mutterings. Mutter.
I will pick two winners Monday morn when I get up. I live in Texas. Good luck. Hooks speed.

“Let’s be together forever!” “AHHHHHHH!”
It may be a little early but timing is not my strong point and I don’t feel like changing. You knew who I was when you met me. Thinking of scary Halloween costumes to freak out my friend and, apparently, I nailed it. “Hey, let’s hold hands! I’ll never leave! Let’s craft everything together all the time forever and ever and ever!!!!” I think I’m freaking myself out now.

Needles ain’t no joke when it comes to sticking together tighter than J-Lo’s jeans. If Kate had be this determined she could have thawed out Leo and ran around pointlessly for 10 more hours of Hollywood movie gold. I guess we lucked out.

Well, hello there. What hooker has two thumbs and is on the Craft blog today? Yep, that’s right, this Hooker. Word. Consider the retainer swallowed and the inhaler empty. The lack of oxygen has lead to four new doodles today and if you are new here feel free to take the mic and introduce yourself: “I am ____. I am a hooker and have been hooking for ____.” Any other info about your love of fried twinkies or long romantic waits in line at the craft shop is all up to you. Welcome to Hooktopia! Thanks for stopping by, HOOKS UNITE! HOOKS UP! Also thanks Halie and again, thanks Craft.

While listening to uber sophisticated public radio as I am sooo oh uber sophisticated as you all have come to know, the program was peppered with “crescendo” and all I could think of was crochet doe, crochet doe, crochet doe. Sorry public radio, your banter is second to hookery.

Happy Birthday Nas! You have no idea the impact you have made on the crochet community. One can be powerful and make change one hook at a time.
“ALL I NEED IS ONE LIFE, ONE TRY, ONE BREATH I’M ONE MAN
WHAT I STAND FOR SPEAKS FOR ITSELF, THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND”
I added the One Mic to DA JAMZ! page and check out the other tunes on the Hooker soundtrack.
