This has been your international crochet lesson for the day. Since now you have a clarification, you will know the group Think of Japan While Knitting makes crochet blankets to raise money for Japanese earthquake relief efforts. Visit the page, participate, do good.

As you know, due to my over sharing, I moved at the beginning of this month. With that came an over haul of craft supplies. There were overhead projectors here, a box of googly eye there, and yarn, yarn, yarn errrywhere! Naturally, this was horrid. Collecting the supplies is utter joy in a wave of coupons, sales, and the urge to hoard, but purging and organizing…let us not think of these things. The prize for all this work?! Finding a few hooks stuck between couch cushions and, oh, the elation!
Made. My. Day.

This is what I think of every time I hear “Hook ’em horns!” and being from Texas you hear (and see) it quite a lot. I would much prefer a group of retired steers fiddlin’ with yarn and making horn cozies.

I swear I say this every time I see some inexplicably awesome crochet thing on the interwebs. For real. Really.
Should I explain? Uh, no. If you are of a certain age, you get it. Kudos.
